Terms of use
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the company named at the end of this page ("we"). By using Lilbird you accept them.
Who can use Lilbird
- You must be 18 or older.
- Lilbird is available in the United States, the European Union and Canada.
- One account per person. Don't make a new account to get around a pause or a ban.
Zero tolerance for abuse
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Every note must follow the rules on our Safety page. If a note breaks them we may remove it, warn you, pause your account, or close it, and a closed account stays closed on that device. Report anything that breaks the rules; we review reports within 24 hours.
How anonymity works
- The person whose wall you write on doesn't learn it was you unless you sign the note, they guess right when you let them guess, or you tell them yourself.
- We know who wrote each note, so we can enforce the rules. We erase that link 30 days after the wall opens, unless the note was reported, in which case we keep it until the report is closed.
- We never tell a wall's owner who wrote a note. We disclose a writer only when a court or authority orders us to.
Your notes
You own what you write. You let us store your notes, check them, show them to the wall's owner when the wall opens, and keep them while a report about them is open. The owner may pin a note to their public wall or share it, always without your name unless you allowed it. Don't write anything you don't have the right to share.
Checks before sealing
Notes are checked automatically, partly by an AI model, before they're sealed. A note may be stopped, sent back for a second thought, or held while we check it. These checks can be wrong; if you think we got one wrong, write to safety@lilbird.app.
Decisions and appeals
When we act on your note or account, we tell you which rule was broken and why. Reply to safety@lilbird.app within 6 months and a person will look at it again.
The iPhone app
If you use Lilbird on an iPhone, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to support it, and isn't liable for any claim about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on Your notes. We may pause or close accounts that break these terms.
Liability
Lilbird is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for notes other people write. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and law
We'll tell you in the app or on this page before changes take effect. These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in.
